Is your new plant selection influenced by what you see when you travel? Mine is. Of course, you might expect as much from someone who writes about plants. But I'm sure many of you operate under a similar influence.
A travel destination I regularly mine for plant ideas is coastal Maine. Not all of these ideas pan out, mind you. The conditions in my landscape back home differ markedly from those along Maine's coast, even though the two are not separated by a heck of a lot of territory. One
